just get middle of the road brands from your local auto parts store. don't get the super expensive racing brands or the super cheap economy ones. if you replace the wires they'll likely have a 'premium' set with lifetime warranty for about $39-49. don't get your wires mixed up and note the #1 stamped on the cap. mark that location on the dist base from your old one. number your wires from that reference and you can't go wrong.

Sounds like a good idea. I had seen on here a while back that there was a discussion about spark plugs since champion won't offer the platinums IIRC. any suggestions on plugs? I'm still searching for that thread.

i have autolites, cant remember the number off the top of my head, but its the one alot of people here run
