Cool Summer Aspiration

This is a rough sketch I did a while back of how I want to repaint my truck this summer. It incorporates a few of the body mods I plan to do, such as different tail lights and a shaved tail gate handle, replaced by a Dodge emblem from a 2006 mounted on a lever. I wanted the two tone to help incorporate the colors from my interior into the exterior. The stance is a bit exaggerated for the time frame, as I do want to some day bag it, but I doubt I'll have the time or money within the next year. I'm debating on shaving the door handles as I'm not all that familiar with it or the consequences.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions on the tail lights to use? I've seen ones on eBay, but I'm not sure exactly what would be best. I'm also not sure what color to outline the silver dividing stripe in. Hopefully I'll be getting some airbrushing this winter to make a nice shadow effect on the stripe.

I'm going to sketch the front end later. I have to figure out how the divider would look best flowing into the grill, etc.

That is HOTTT!!!!! Maybe you could use some old 50's round Cadillac taillights. I love the two tone. Red and black go great together on Rams (Like Purple and Orange!!!). What I would also do is shave the 3rd brake light. Leave the door handles as is.

Thanks. I'm not sure about those Caddy tails. I'm only finding lenses, no assemblies on eBay.

Dont shave your door handles as my poppers have gone out multiple times. It does put a nice clean look down the side of your truck but is not worth the hassle... I have been at so many parties where I go out to my truck at 2 a.m. to discover my solenoid has gone out again and I'm locked out meh truck. Plus I spent hours trying to make it smooth.

looks sick
for the pinstripe around the silver stripe, i'd just reverse the colors, i saw that on a green and black f150 once, the stripe was engine turned silver leaf, it was so cool looking

and i really like the idea for the tailgate handle, shouldn't be to hard to do, i'd just get a new handle assembly and gut it for the internals

You can buy a kit from ebay, but I just made my own filler plate.
