Default Indy cylinder head screwed up

Well with a lot of research we have determined that Indy Clyinder head sold me the worng rings in my stroker kit form the get go. The rings they sold me are for a magnum and not a stroker and are a lot thinner. Which would cause my blow by. So I have torn the motor all apart because of there mistake. I will call them monday but I dont expect them to do anything.

With all due respect the fault lies with the installer. If I put a ring on a piston with 20 thousandths of vertical slop its telling me something is ...askew!They might throw you a new set to make things right, but thats the end of their culpability.Did you get pistons too?If they sent you pistons and rings together with the wrong rings I would be raising hell. But its still your job to check that when assembling the shortblock. It had to smoke like a detroit diesel while it was together.

Yeah, I corrected the title just so it can be found in a search, but since he misspelled it twice I figure he must not know how to spell it.

Yeah the rings came with the pistions, crank rods and berings in the kit. Just the worng rings. I had to trust indy when they gave me the kit. And when calling them on what type of piston they were not even able to tell me what piston was in there kit. And ring gap is set to the type of piston.
