with a sport grill it may look better, or seeing if our tops would work....

I watched that as it progressed, and my ending thoughts was- I don't like it. Nothing looks right IMO. There is too much of an insane gap between the grille and the bumper, so either the top valence needs to be extended, or the grille needs it. It also has a very awkward feeling about it when you look at it from a side view in the fact that it extends out so far.

It's cool that someone has done it, but it's not for me.

I think the the black plastic piece on top of the
chrome bumper should be flipped up-side down then,
the gap would be gone at the bottom of the grill...
The gap between the bumper and the plastic would
now be larger. then, use the gutter-mesh trick to fill
that gap and, do the mesh trick to the grill also.

I'ld rather find a way to put a 3rd gen rear bumber on. That does look unique though.

Yea, thats how I feel about some custom built grille guards that stick out a foot in front of the truck. Just doesn't look right. But then again, you could probably trim the sides even shorter and install it closer to the frame.

I have a 3rd gen rear bumper I tryied to put on my truck never did get it to fit.
