Intake bolt broken, my worst nightmare
In a motor flush product one will find petroleum distillates and solvents along with a surfacing agent and possibly additional cleaners and lubricants. With regular oil and solvent all you have is just that, oil and some solvent such as either Kerosene, Toluene, Acetone etc. Same with using diesel fuel. It too contains solvents and other additives but, it's not meant to be run / pumped through the engine like you can with a motor flush product. So, to answer your question, the answer is no, they are not the same chemically.

is reg solvent better or safer than diesel ? has anyone on here tried solvent?,wonder how it would work , seeing it evaperates(in small thin quantities<-----yeah i know, lol) and doesnt really leave a residue behind like diesel does.
I've seen about everything when it comes to cleaning out a crank case. What I've found works best is to drain the oil, refill it with 3 quarts oil 2 quarts of diesel fuel. Run it at idle for about 20 minutes, let it sit and cool, then run it again.
Drain the oil and change the filter, refill it with some cheap oil. Run it for a few miles then change it again.

It's just tap - no die. A die is used to cut external threads on a fastener, pipe, solid stock etc while tapping is the process of cutting internal threads.
So, how often should you run the diesel and oil mix? like 30K miles? I still am kinda leery because the diesel might blow seals and gaskets. I cant belive I have never heard of this...
I am wanting to do my Plenum fix, buying a hughes plate... I think I may get some of this Mouse Milk and put it on my Intake bolts before I even try to take them off... Just to make sure I don't break a bolt...
