Default 3815 or 3865?

Question has probably been beaten to death, so one word answer will suffice

2002 Dodge Ram 1500 w 5.9l magnum. I THINK I read that I dont really need the shift engagements or something that is supposed to come with the new 3865 model. Im more interested in the power increase and for almost $100 cheaper, Id rather go with 3815.

If your main concern is power, I think you would be best with a sct canned tune by hemifever. It's probably a little more expensive, but at least you know you bought the best.
