Default Refurbished PCM

Hey just a quick question I couldn't find anywhere...

If I get refurb PCM, will it have the death Flash on it? Was looking at some performance stuff online, and found a refurb PCM for $195... So was curious...

It will if it is part of the current dodge software for your truck. I know for a fact my 2001 has it and thats the only way I can get it from the refurbishers. Not sure that 97's had it though. Im sure someone else will chime in that knows for sure.

Where you getting a refurb for a 2001 at? Everyone I called told me they can only refurb up to '99. So junk yard or wholesale / dealer are the options I have found.

Well Mine has come from Auto Computer Exchange, the ones advertising on ebay. I have read the horror stories from others about them and pcfixerpro's experience (after I ordered mine of course) but am having an okay experience so far even though I am currently waiting on a replacement for a bad one. Im keeping my fingers crossed!
