Lmao!! That might not be bad if you wrap it with some vynil. Help keep it dry. And that wood will be toast after about 6 rains and dry offs.

i have two L bracets on the 2x6 that i used 1 screw on each side to put it into the bed liner. and i know i need to paint it. just been busy... ima take it off and store it when i dont need it. it works pretty good. figured i'd get some rubber stripping and seal up all the cracks n stuch, just attach em to the thing it's self so when i take it off they go with it. i need a router so i can round the edges n such.

Keep track of your gas mileage because I've been wanting to get one if they increase mileage significantly but don't want to shell out the hundreds of dollars, and wouldn't mind doing something similar just for highway trips and whatnot.

A small trip to the hardware store and you'd be set.

If that's too City fer ya you can always get a cheap tarp and wrap the wood with it then duct tape it.
