ok let me rephrase since you cant seem to understand dakotas ram. i went from a 265/75/16 to a 285/75/16 to a 315/75/16........Meaning.....i went from basically a 31" tire....to a 33" tire....to a 35" tire.......do you understand better now

no, i understand the widths clearly, BUT you have to have the aspect ratio (2nd #) to be able to calculate the height....alll of those widths can also be a car tire....understand?

Do some searching on here it will shed some light. 3.55 and 33" tires = a dog of a truck than wont hold od and will eat trannys for a snack.

Plus will a 305 event fit on a 7" wide wheel? I know a 285 is at the max for a 7" wide wheel.

i have stock gearing and 33x12.50x15 ive never had a problem. i dont know where you might of heard that.

i dont know but my stock 8" rims hold my 315/75 beautiful....and it is 11 5/8" wire across the treads hahaha......i been runnin 3.73's in my truck for years, and i had the small 265/75's to the 315/75's ....... its been great.......
