I dont think that would be very feasable. Truck bed liner coatings arent as insulative (I think I made that word up!) as the factory layers of jute and carpet. When you step in your truck I'd sound like an empty warehouse compared to conventional carpet or vinyl.[/quote]

ooo never thought of that good point

you can buy the replacement stuff, maybe even put some matting under it, like dynomat, or the cheap **** they put under carpets for insulation

Kind of funny I am seem to be doing the exact opposite of everyone else. I just pulled out my rubber floor and ordered carpet from stock interiors on the net for $120.

I have been considering that too, but the rubber floor is in good shape. Except for the armour all from the PO.

Here's my latest interior mod, probably the most useful one I've done:

2 AC power outlets custom mounted to the airbag module cover. These were removed and all wiring lengthened from a
300W inverter which is mounted up in behind the glovebox, and wired direct to the battery (with a fuse holder)

if anyone's interested, I plan to do a little DIY for this mod toooo
