Curious how your headliner is after pulling it down & putting it back up?

Heres mine, I smoothed the overhead console, gauge bezel, door pulls & pwr control on the doors. The rest I left textured. Had issues with the overhead & the airbag control box. The paint caused the adhesion promoter to react, took a couple tries to get it to work. Also did my SS mirrors & the ext door handles at the same time. Put the race buckets in back in 01, used manual pedestals from an 98 cause I didnt want to cut up the power ones.

You have to drop the glovebox. Theres a few bolts and a plug holding it in, I believe. It was much easier to pull it out while I had my dash out for the heater core.

Yeah, I was concerned about taking it down after reading some horror stories about disintegrating headliners, but I was careful with it and it came out/went back in fine. Even shampooed it while it was out. It is somewhat delicate, though.
