On all the video clips except for the two that I go though a mud hole I'm running a straight pipe with my cat gutted. The day I got vid of those two holes was like the only day I was running no muffler.

That's pretty much what I was doing trucking though the snow thinking it was just just a trail that I had never been down before until I almost ate my steering wheel.

I took my truck into Pep Boys today, I know they suck but its the only place that would look at it today. They told me I need over $1800 in parts and labor. My power steering gear box is shot which I knew about, tie rod ends are shot which I also knew about, trac bar is bent and another thing or two I can't remember.

I had them call my extended warranty to see what they would do and they are going to cover pretty much everything except for the trac bar and tie rod ends which is $507. I'll be stuck paying $100 for the deductible, power steering flush kit, shop fee and tax which the guy is going to get it under $200.

That will leave me with needed tie rod ends and a trac bar before an alignment. I'm going to call around and price out a trac bar and tie rod ends and go over to my friends garage and do those myself (hopefully) then get it aligned.

Hopefully everything goes as easy as it sounds..... Right now I'm just waiting for Pep boys to do the stuff they are going to do and they are waiting for the pump to come in which should be here on Monday.

Got a call from the garage today and it wasn't good news. They were trying to do my ball joints and it turns out I need a new knuckle

It's shaped like an egg and the only reason why it held the old ball joint in there was because the ball joint formed to the the knuckle. The only place that can get them in are though a dealer and that's about $400.

Been calling a few junk yards and waiting for to get back to me tomorrow. If anyone has a drivers side knuckle that they can spare, let me know.

Hopefully have something tracked down for Wednesday.

I tracked down a knuckle today and picked it up in Altoona Pa for $106 out the door. Dropped it off at the garage where my truck is and the guy doing the work to my truck won't be in till Thursday. The ball joints came in today, power steering pump got in on Monday and its all tore apart just waiting to be put back together and I should have my truck by Friday.
