i have a 1999 1500 ram 42,000 miles when it hits about 40 mph it bucks i have to turn off the OD plus it pings when this goes on , someone said that dodge trucks shift to soon and thats what its doing if it is how can i fix it?? its an auto

 

Sounds like it needs a tune up.42k on a 1999,you must drive to the grocery store once a week.
