Default Snow+the beach= disaster

so i went wheelin today...was by myself....went to a beach that no one goes to, and theres no barracades from where the tar ends, to where sand begins....its on the ocean, so theres good wind. i drove out, and the front of my truck just sunk. threw it 4x4, and i started digging my own grave into the sand..

tried opening my door...couldnts, cuz the snow was so deep, and its really sticky and heavy cuz the suns shinin. so i climbed out the window, looked at the truck before going waist deep into snow...and snow was up to the hood of my truck....i was in themiddle of a snow drift, plus on dirt, so i dug myself a hole.

had to call a wrecker...60 bucks and they ripped me out...barely.....damn that was fun...went further than i though lol...

Was it a nude beach? That explains running your truck into a sand drift!

Going by yourself was your first mistake.

Most definitely. And the second mistake was entering in two wheel drive. It doesn't sound like you would have had a chance in four, but its still wrong IMO.

Its kinda nice to enter areas in two wheel and then when a traction problem arises you can lock 'r in 4 and keep trucking, but with sand that is a bad idea. Once the tires start digging it quickly becomes "all over"... often before the front axle even engages.

Anyway, get some pics up! And congrats on the fairly cheap tow bill... I think it could have been much worse.
