sliding rear window tight

Default sliding rear window tight

My Ram 2500 sliding rear windows are very tight. Does anyone have a recommendation on how to remidy this? Thanks.

They are supposed to be,so they don't leak.

Check for any debris (sand, dirt, etc...) in the sliding tracks.

Just thinking out loud since I don't have a sliding back window... but maybe you might try scoping around a hardware store for something like this.

Mines tight but vibrates when driving..errrr But they are suppose to be tight but slide pretty easy, could try a little oil.

mine are very tight as well , i managed to break the cheap plastic clip by grabbing that and trying to close it , not a good idea, been tight as heck ( to tight to slide even) this just sounds wrong when someone stumbles on to this post<~~~ i know you guys are thinking away! lol

I sprayed silicone spray in my track, seamed to help my window.

+1 on the silicone spray as oil will trap and hold dirt

Clean the tracks and rails real well, and then use some silicone lubricant from time to time to keep it opening smoothly.
