Extremely confusing taillight/gauge lights/brake light problem..

FINALLY!!!!!!!!! problem solved, if you look under your dash, near your brake pedal you will see a pink/brown or black wire that goes from the fuse pannel to the brake register switch, it was freakin broken. dont ask how but it had broken loose from the fuse pannel an was dangling there. solderd it back togeather and boom i got lights.
