So I am looking at getting an N-Fab Pre-runner bad for the front of my '96 Ram. And noticed it has to different models listed. One is for 94-01 2WD/4WD (why in the f**k that is listed I have no idea) and the other is for 97-01 Sport w/plastic bumper.

Ok so here is the deal my truck is a 96 sport with the same color painted bumper as the color of the truck like most sport model trucks. So what is the difference? Is one built bigger then the other? Both are the same price so I don't know. I'm thinking just buy the 94-01 and call it good, what do you guys think? Didn't in like 97 Dodge change the sport models so the fog lights were further apart and stuff?? Seems like the 00-01 are wider then my truck.

You need to get the 94-01 one not the sport one, only 99-01 sports have a different front bumper

 

ORW Has some bars that fit these trucks and are rather inexpensive. ORI is the brand name I believe.

The newer sport bumpers (which came out in 99) are much taller than the original ones, so most added push bar type things will not fit... unless they have a different mounting system that accommodates for the lower bumper.
