Default What year seat can I put in my 99' 2500 4x4

Ok, I have a bench seat in my 99' 2500 and I want to get a 40/20/40 seat from a truck at the junk yard..
What year and model trucks can I use? I figure I'll probably have to add some bolts to hold the seat in the middle.? Will a 1500 seat fit right in a 2500? I was at the junk yard today and it was closed but the gate was open so I checked out a few wrecked Dodges and a couple had some seats that I liked.
Thanks..

If yours has integrated seatbelts, make sure the donor one does.

I have nothing that fancy in my truck..
I talked to my buddy who is a big truck guy and he says I can use 94-2002 in Heavy duty trucks and I think he said 94-01 in LD.
I got a lot to pick from so finding something I like should be easy.
Still looking for the black wagon wheel rims also.

Seat mounting fabs are pretty easy. A good drill, vice, some shims and a measuring tape and you can mount almost any seat.

What he is asking is, what cab do you have?

I didn't get that???
Not sure what cab... It's a Plain Jane 2500.. Seat belts are in the side of the truck not the seat. This truck has no extras at all. I have the Crank windows, no power anything, no cruise nothing extra.. It's a work truck, it's my understanding the person who originally owned it used it to haul hay and horses with a 5th wheel. It still has the 5th wheel brackets in the bed and it has the power break assist for the trailers. I use it to haul fire wood and to run around in when my wife has the car. So I want to make it nicer and add some different items to it.

I would say yes. The seat belts may mount different , my 01 2500 has a quad cab so the seat belts travel through the seat back. If yours is a regular cab the seat belts probably attach to the frame above the seats. but your new seats should have the seat belts in them.....In short I would say yes.

How the hell didnt you get that? The trim level of your truck has nothing to do with what cab you have.

How is him asking if I have integrated seat belts asking what cab I have? That's what I don't get.
Its a Regular cab on my 2500. Am I suppose to know that integrated belts are only on club or king cabs and not on regular cabs?
Now can you help answer my question??????
My guess is no, but I'll be waiting...
Thanks..
