Quote: I hate my dual sliders. They are such a PITA to open. I'm gonna just put a solid piece of glass in and get a sunroof!
Have fun when the sunroof leaks.

That'll probably be 10-20 years into the future anyway.

Go to a junkyard and find one and just replace it. It's cheaper than putting in a solid glass window.

you talking about trying to replace the slider myself? or what?

and the other problem with that is..theres two rams up here..both of which are gutted, and both of which have solid back un tinted windows..

i wanna keep the dual sliders..not single or solid lol

Good luck with that. It is really hard on most vehicles to remove either the front or rear glass without breaking them just due to the fact that the glue interfere. Not saying it can't be done, but I am saying you'll be more likely to snap the glass over getting it out in piece.

I dunno about other junkyards but I know the one around where I live actually pull the slider windows off the trucks when they get there. I've had to do it twice for a friend. It's a pain, but with patience and going slow it can be done.
