Question what would you do?

if you had the chance to trade evenly your 2001 ram 2500 4x4 v10 for a 2000 BMW w/ all the bells and whistles 150k miles and the engine has been bored and built, with chip....would you do it? here's my thoughts, say i do this, then beat up the BMW hence i've never owned one, then after i'm done with it trade it in on a truck that i really want, 2500 4x4 megacab, 8' bed i know those trucks are far fetched but i have seen them w/ a diesel but hey i'll settle for whatever. before i forget, the guy said it has 450 hp and 540lbs of torque, he has a supercharger for it but took it off due to the local police...i.e. can't keep his foot out of it, but i doubt that i'll get the supercharger with the even trade may have to fork out some cabbage for that one. so now i'd like to hear your thoughts.

If originally had a blower and in the process of rebuilding the motor he took it off and has been screwing around with the electronics (by chipping it or what ever) I would stay away from it.

How often do you use the truck to haul stuff? If you use it a lot then your gonna miss it.
If you never use it or only once or twice a year then a car may be a nice change.
I would have a good mechanic look at that BMW with that many mods to the motor.

I would trade it for something better than an abused BMW.
