is the oil leaking into the plenum again?

and as forthe intake gaskets, i did mine twice, and there was no need for the bolt thing. i just put the gasket down on the head with rtv and let it dry. then my gaskets stayed right in place with no problems putting the manifold back on......did you try to rush to get it done? i did the first time and it lead to leaking fuel injectors, and mis-routed dist. cap

 

i didn't use bolts either, the keg to head gaskets sat in the end seals perfectly and didn't move at all.

i'm thinking that you either got the orientation of the kegger to head gaskets backwards (they only line up with all the holes one way) or the torque isn't right and coolant is leaking past those gaskets and into the lifter valley. the smaller square holes in the front of the heads are where coolant goes through the intake to meet the thermostat.

do you see any coolant around the bottom of the intake in the very front right behind the accessory bracket/below the thermostat?
