My 2001 Ram's dial type lights switch on the top left side of the dashboard doesn't illuminate like the similar looking dial switches on the dash. Does anyone have advise on how to fix it. Thanks.

My 01 doesn't have a lighted dial that I am aware of. Maybe because I don't have fogs? Either way, thought i would mention before you pull it apart.

Edit, on second thought maybe I need to fix mine too ...

 

Thanks for the quick check. I have fog lights in the dial. Pulling the dial turns them on. In the link fatchance sent there is a picture of the finished product and you can see all the lit icons. That's actually more than I think I have in that area. I think my truck only has a light in the dial component. It's just a line that shows which direction it is pointing. If the icons light up after this fix it would be a bonus to me... I say that because the other lit icons on the climate control feel like a membrane when you touch them with your finger, but the icons by the lights switch feel hard and I think they are silkscreened on.
