leveling kit

Default leveling kit

i have 2000 ram 1500 2wd
would i need to buy new shocks if i did 2.5in leveling kit cause online it says i would but if heard as long as its under 3in im fine can someone help me out

It would be a very good idea in your part to buy new ones, since your old ones may be 10 years old.

yea i took it to a shop and they said i needed new shocks because mine were so old

if i fif the 1.5in leveling would it sit level and be able to clear 33s cause stock i can clear then they just rub a lil on the fender wells any help

thanks that helped alot ...looks like 1.5 level kit it is lol saved me 100 bucks and it looks good

i called a local 4wd place today and they said if i did a leveling kit on my truck for 2wd i would never be able to get the alignment back any help with this ?

They are full of ****.... With a 1.5 u will be fine...... It's when your pushin3in+.

I have the 2.5 Daystar spacers on mine ( The site i ordered them from had them specified as only 2" which is why i ordered them ) and ive had it aligned and it seems to be fine. My biggest annoyance with the 2.5 is how easily you bottom out your suspension but I've installed new upper control arms that clear the coil bucket and of course new shocks but the ride is the same to me and maybe even a little bit better thanks to the shocks.

saved a $100? Hell Bent Steel sells 2.5 inch spacers for like 80 bucks
