1999 Dodge Ram Utility Body Rust

So I just bought a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 with a utility body. Its got a ton of rust in the bed and has a few large holes. I feel as if I stood on them I would fall through. What should I do to prolong the life of the bed and repair it as best as I can?
