Hey guys new to the forum but was wondering if anyone knows an easy way or any tricks to removing the bed on my 95 ram. about to do some body work and want to take it off to get to the cab corners and patch the wells.

i believe its only 4-6 bolts, and the filler neck and it should cme right off.

 

Unbolt it and get some friends to lift it off...

 

un bolt it, disconnect all the wiring and bottle neck, find a good open area put it in reverse floor it then slam on the brakes.. that usually does the trick.



NOT!!! lmao just unbolt it get a couple of friends it's not too heavy just odd to carry

 

use air tools if you can,,,, goes alot faster .... There also maybe a ground strap not a 100% on that

 

put a chain hoist or a strong rope up in the ceiling of your garage and unbolt then lift about 3-6 inches and drive the truck out. easy easy

 

you can put it on jackstands and take off tires to make it easier also....if youre by yourself and have a engine hoist, you could use that
