ported and polished is what i say....it was dipped in a cleaner, sandblasted, and then painted.

Oh dude your not. Any advice is nice. I hear ya though. I'm actually gonna have it looked at again in the spring. If it's starting to go or gone, then I'll replace it with a new gasket and the support plate.
