Your guess is as good as mine i got no idea what happend, i just know it's running normal again. Only thing i can think of is some air got in the line when i ran the tank low.

I know but damn i was ready to drive the same thing through a wall. and the screwd up part is it prolly wouldn even put a dent in the truck

if you do change the distributor, be careful when removing the screws if they havent been out for a while. mine broke off and i had to take off the plenum to get to it to fix it.
