Default check engine

Hey guy's whats up/ So I was driving my 1994 dodge ram 1500 v6 magnum 2wd and well I got a check engine. Everything seemed to be ok, truck was running fine, I turned it off cuz I had to go to the dep. Got back in, check engine didn't come back? I did the key on key off, it gave me code 32, egr failure. I had this code in the past, but it just stoped comming up. Now it's back. Help would be great! thx

mine did the same thing, but i did an egr delete when doing my plenum, and CEL came up 2 times, and hasnt done it in the past 4500 miles.

it would pop on and truck would still run perfect. when i shut it off and turned it on, the CEL was gone everytime, and wouldnt come back for a while

check your vac. lines

It's on the back of the engine, hard to get to but, very doable if you want to clean the tube or put a new one on. I had the same code several years ago, and just replaced the EGR valve. I've heard you can clean the valve and the tube, and stop the code from coming back.

its actually quite easy. thereare only two bolts that hold it on. go to the pass. side of motor, look towards the back of the valve cover, its almost right behind it (its bolted to the manifold)
