I'm getting 13.5 mpg driving 50/50 city/highway and I just installed a K & N this pass weekend hoping to get an additional 2 mpg. I'll keep you posted.

I talked to Dan at Fastman last weekend-got the group rate buy when i order thanks to Amanda, Dan says that the average for these TB are about 3-4 mPG increase and at 2.00 + a gallon it will pay for itself. Even at .75 cents a gallon it will pay for itself-asked him a few questions answered them without hesitation.
I've got a 99 Ram with a 5.9 with 161,234 miles on her and she is getting between 15.8-16.2mpg,she has a cat back system with flowmasters and a k&n filter, and I'm looking in one of those Fastman throttle bodies,(thanks to Amanda) and I love my ram.
I have an '01 1500 5.9L Offroad edition and I get about 11.6 in the city with 265/70r17s and a 4:10 rearend. All I have atm is Flowmaster duals but I plan on putting on a K&N FIPK soon, oh and my '04 4.7L with the same tires 3:92 rear Magnaflow duals and a CAI gets the same mileage around the city as my 5.9L, bizarre huh. Ofcourse my 5.9 has 96k miles and the 4.7 only has 6k on it.
Well, I have a month and half under my belt with the new install of the K&N and I am happy to report that the gas mileage has gone from 13.5 mpg to around 15 mpg driving 50/50 city/highway. This is an honest report...I am not one to "sugar coat things". I don't drive my truck like I stole it, so maybe that helps.
