Default Truck not starting

Hey guys. Brand spanking new here. Im turning to the internet for help.

My truck is a 98 1500 ram, 5.9l.

My problem is its not starting. It has good spark, and I checked fuel pressure, key on engine off, its 45. Cant check it with engine running sense it wont start.

Any ideas? What is psi supposed to be with key on engine off?

Thanks

edit- sorry, forgot to add, scanner is not coming with any codes.

Does it crank?
Is the fuel pump working?

Does crank, fuel pump works, I hear it whine, and it puts out 45 psi. Also, I noticed that after about 15 mins it bled down to 40 psi. Not sure if this normal or not. Dont think it would make that much of a difference.

Before throwing any money at it, go out and unscrew the precat o2 sensor and see if it starts.

The Cat is probably clogged. So the money you throw at it solving nothing, you'll have, to buy a new one and fix the plenum which caused the Cat to go bad in the first place.

I recently went through a heck of a lot of problems with starting and shutting off while driving. I replaced the crank position sensor several weeks back and about 200 miles and I haven't seen the issue pop up again.

I tried taking the oxygen sensor out and starting, that didnt work. Right now I suspect the Crank shaft sensor. Bought a chiltons and it said test it for continuity with a multimeter between the 1 and 2 pins. If it has continuity it is bad, if doesnt have it then its good. It does, so I unbolted it but I cant slide it out of that rubber grommet. Almost seems easier to unbolt the rusty exhaust to work on it than the inch they give you to work with.
