IIRC the only pita about the n switch is the fact that it's buried in there pretty good next to the linkage.

another update
trans fuse was blown, replaced it still the same, tried swaping relay, no change. Now I'm thinking there's a broken wire somewhere or maybe a bad ground. Now how would one find that now

Check the new fuse again and make sure it didn't blow a second time. Does the vehicle move when you're in park?

yes I checked the fuse again its good. Truck won't roll in park. My driveway has a bit of an incline so if I put her in drive she won't move(unless I give her gas) but if I put her in 1st she'll move

well I got starting in park back, what I did was unplug and replug the multi pin plug on the top/side of tranny. I think this is were the root of the problem is. Also it still won't start off on 1st gear(unless I manully put it in 1st) so its still in limp mode

Hmm.. So you might have some wiring problems. That would explain the blown fuse, right?

No need to drop the pan to swap neutral safety switch, it unscrews from the tranny block.

Sounds like you have issues that need professional diagnosis.
If you are handy with a multimeter, you can diagnose the internal wiring harness yourself, for that you would have to drop the pan - And drop the valve body, to replace.
The idea would be to check for continuity between the connector on top, and where the various wires terminate on the sensors.
Trouble with this little harness, and the sensors which it serves, is not all that uncommon.

Might also do you a world of good to find someone with a quality scan tool, these tools can tell you things about the trannys innards & connections that nothing else can.
