Definitely.... Looking for more ideas. If it IS the plenum - I won't be messing with that til it warms up this spring though - so you may have to wait awhile....lol

well, like i sai, i have the sme problem, and i just fixed my plenum with the hughes kit, and got my manifold looking brand new thanks to a local machine shop., and its still doing it....

gasket between the aircleaner and throttle body, mines broke and has a slight sucking/whistling sound

That was my first thought - but it still makes the noise with the aircleaner assembly clear off the vehicle...

No. I have a Fastman TB. The noise is not coming from the TB area. It is down at the front of the engine somewhere....

Fan clutch might be going bad ? or do you have electric

i listened to mine again, and im leaning maybe on the fan clutch. that would create more strain on the WP causing the noise?

i have a new fan clutch but the coil spring in the front that heats up and activates thefan clutch is not n the way it was on my old one...hard to explain....but im thinkin its taking longer for my fan clutch to kick in because it doesnt have a solid contact to anything.

look into on yours....just a thought
