I can understand your point there. If I needed some brighter lights, I would get some Hella 500s and put them next to the fogs. And then get some yellow Hella 37.5 watt bulbs for the fog lights.

Where do you get Stinger wire?
Why not? Effort of Installation, Cost, Simplicity and practicality come to mind. You didn't make a typo, you're trying to cover yourself. Don't lie. There's no shame in being wrong, now you know. You've learned something today.

Hella 500's are great lamps. I know a lot of people who rock those on a variety of vehicles. Amber is the color you want for fog lamps, good call.

I get Stinger wire from a guy I know who owns an audio shop. You can find it all over the interwebs.

No, I wasnt trying to cover myself. I used 10g to (attempt to build) a headlight harness for the S-10. Its been so long since I built the harness for Purpl, anyway. I will check into the Stinger wire, as I will be building a new harness so I can run the fogs off the factory headlight switch.

There's no shame in being wrong, now you know. You've learned something today.
To be honest, I didnt learn much. I'm a hard-headed bastard when it comes to these things, I will still be using 12g to wire up the fog lights.

What the hell does that got to do with anything?

Wire gauge - 22 (I'm guessing here) = age.

Yes, Our 99-01 trucks have the wiring for the fog lights all the way up to the fuse. After that, there is nothing.

Up to the fuse, not up to the dash. The Fuse is in the power distribution block under the hood.

You are going to have to wire it.

No, the wires are UP To the fuse. There is no need to re-wire the plug because all the wires are already there (at least on my truck).
