Thumbs down rim help please!!

Hey all,

quick question. I have 285/75/16 tires on my factory rims which I believed are 16x7. I'm looking to replace my oem rims with new ones. I went to tire rack and they have some great deals. However, they are recommending 16x8 rims as well as 16x10. Will my current tires fit on these rims with out any problems and what is the difference? Thanks so much, Not to good with tire/rim stuff......

The only difference between 16"x7", 16"x8", and 16"x10" is the width of the wheel. I would recommend using a 16"x8" with a 4.5" backspace for a 285/75r/16 tire. Most people say that a 285/75r/16 tire is to big for a 16"x7" wheel, but they will work. Still if your going to replace your factory wheels with some aftermarket ones I would go with what I recommended.
