I get roughly 13 on the highway and about 9 to 10 in town in the summer. Now that its winter more like 11 all the time. The truck has only one mod. Blown plenum. lol

 

^ Haha very nice! How much Horsepower does that mod give??

 

I've found that Shell 89 octane works best for me in my area. Now, when I get to Oklahoma, that goes out the window. It's all demographic and what the company puts in the gas. Down in OK though, I've found that Conco or Phillips works the best for me. (Nice thing about them is it's still optional to run 10% blends)

Hey guys, this is my first post. Im not pullin more then 300ish to a tank, so thats right around 11-12.

I have an 01 1500 on 265/75/r16s,with the 5.2 Magnum not too sure of the mods cause i bought it in Feb of 09, but it has dual exhaust. Any recomendations on some mods to help with gas mileage? Also the engine is pretty gutless, just broke 100k miles!

Just a few things to get you started.

 

It's awesome!!! I got -26 hp from it. My truck also sings to me going down the highway. It goes glug glug glug pinping rattle rattle pop pop.

 

Every time I have tried to figure my mpg I end up crying so hard I can't see any of the numbers.

new trans filter and fluid

thats with 3.55 gears and 265/75/16 tires..stock ride height

 

MPG???? my truck didn't come with that option!!
