Latest truck project (Not Dodge related)
Hey guys, I dont usually get to share most of the stuff I do, so heres the latest truck I built.
It is a 93 Ford F-150. It started as a 2WD and we converted it to 4WD running gear from a 95 Bronco. It isnt built as a trail rig, mostly daily driver, but it did get some fun stuff like a Skyjacker 6" lift (which ends up being about 10" when used on a 2WD) and 35" Toyo OpenCountry M/Ts on 17" wheels.
The transfer case from the Bronco was an electric shift model, so I got the joy of wiring the 16 wire TC Control Module and dash switch.
All the chassis paint is basic Tremclad Semi-met black for easy touch-up, and the coils and radius arms are powdercoat Semi-met black.

haha the thing was rusted so bad. i'd put oil in it one day and it'd have it leaked out the next. the tires went flat, no muffler after the headers (i did that ). oh and that was a typo, i got it for half a dozen beer lol. good thing i got a dakota and k car too for the farm too, ended up givin the ford away.

Dang helms, thats one hell of a project right there. Looks like it turned out very well, congrats!
What was the reasoning for this project if you don't mind me asking? Just something to do? Sentimental value in the 'ol girl? I just cant imagine how dang much work went into that... not to mention time. How long did it take ya?
And what front axle is under that then, a TTB 44? Seams like using a solid 44 would have been a little easier... not to mention help save the front tires hahahahahha
