Default Headlight Trouble, Sport Model

So I just got my truck back from the body shop. ( ******* talking on his cell hit me). But now all four headlight bulbs stay burning at once. I switch to high beam and the four bulbs still burn at once, fog lights go out. All the connections at the headlights are hooked up correctly and the bulbs are in the right place. When in low beam position, the high beam indicator in the dash appears to be slightly illuminated, on high beam it is fully illuminated as normal. What gives. All I can think is that the multifunction switch is out. What are the odds of the switch going out in 5 days as it sat in the body shop is my thought though. So I guess I need some help on this one. I drove it to work this morn. Had alot of pissed off people flashing their brights at me, but there was nothing I could do. Please help...Nathan

They probably crossed a ground or something. Check, and re-check everything.

I guess I'm really not to sure where to look. I gotta grab the trusty Haynes manual and take a look. Thanks

Yeah, look at the wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual and go from there.

The high beam and low beam plugs to the headlights were switched around when the shop put your headlights back in. I had the EXACT same thing happen to me a couple months ago.

On my truck, one plug is blue and the other is gray. Switch them around and you'll be good to go.

Do the blue plugs go to the inside or outside bulbs?

On my '99, the blue plugs go to the outside.

Default Still stuck on this one

Well the blue ended headlight plugs are to the outside bulbs. I have tried to check all the wiring but cant see anything that is out of place. The only headlight that the body shop replaced was the passengers side. They also replaced the front bumper piece, hood, grill, and passengers fender. Does anyone know if they would have even touched the wires. Before I took it in the headlights worked properly, with the low beams and the fog light working together and the high beam bulbs (the 9004s I believe) working by themselves when I flicked the high beam switch. I am really stuck here because all four bulbs burn at once whether in low or high beam position. I never let anyone other than myself work on my vehicles, but I was not even going to try body work myself. I didn't take it apart so I really cant tell if the wires were hooked or grounded differently. Thank you CSXfan and PurplDodge for you advice. Can anyone possible give me anymore ideas on this one. It's so damn frustrating. **** I guess that case of Shiner Blond is gonna get opened up tonight............
