Post flowmaster help?

Looking to get a flowmaster series 40 on my truck. Question is? Do I keep the stock single in/out or go for dual exhaust? Does the dual offer an performance increase in comparision to just the single out? Any help would be great. Thanks!

all duals really do is look better really

the only way your going to get a performace increase is if your really modding and or have true duals..

ive got a SI/SO flowmaster 40 that i bought new in 01 for 50 bucks

it hooked right up with a few welds it was done..had to add a little bit of pipe on each end..then again the muffler that was on there was long and flowmaster 40's are pretty short..

i love the sound of it..

Or you could go his route and have a obnoxiously loud truck and irritate people rather then have a nice deep rumbling sound. Its all a matter of taste and what sound that you want.Like I hate those big *** tuner mufflers that sound like weed whackers.

Mine is like that nothing from the cat to the back. Loud as hell too.
