3/4 inches is more than a little. That is a LOT. My front wheels sit almost 2 inches wider than my rear wheels, and I need fiberglass fenders. Take a look:

thats about what im looking for ^^^ what is the size and BS of your wheels and what size tires are you running? I would really like to get a 285/70 under mine hence the reason for a bigger backspacing so that they dont rub the control arms.

There is a very slim chance they will rub with the stock wheels anyway. Mine don't at all. Very minimal rub with 35x12.5's

My truck sits like that because I have spindles in the front. If you wanted your wheels to sit as far as my front wheels, you would have to buy wheels with ridiculous backspacing, and you will toast wheel bearings every 20k or so, with that much weight cantilevered off of the end of the hubs.

My wheels are 16x8's 4.5 BS, wrapped in 305 70 16's. If you were to buy those wheels, your tires would sit like my rear.

Huh. Mine don't rub at all. I also had a set if 305x70x17's (measured 34x12) that didn't rub at all either. I guess it just depends on the truck.

Yep. 285's should clear... but there are the select few who having rubbing issues.

If you planned on getting the same diameter wheels anyway, I would simply try it with the stockers. And then if it rubs a tinny bit and you cant stand it, THEN spend some coin on new wheels.

But, you should be good to go with the stockers.
