3865 is the current model sold by superchips and does all the latest models of vehicles.

3815 is a slightly older model that can only be bought as used, refurb'ed, or left over new stock. 3815 is internet updateable and perfectly fine for a 2nd gen or 3rd gen including the hemi? but maybe not the 4th gen?

3715 is also fine for the 2nd gen, but its not internet updateable, but that doesn't really matter since they're not doing anything new with it.

@2001Ram:

buy the 3815. I use the same one here in germany and
have bought it from a guy here in the forum - it works perfektly.

ok, i have a problem with the "performance mode".
When i use this programm, my engine knocks under load.
Ok, i know that i need not less than 91 ROZ, but i ride minimum 95 ROZ here in germany.
I think that there is a difference between the american and the german ROZ number,
so therefore i canīt use the modus.

...after i have searched the forum for the plenum i do not found any hints about a blown plenum gasket.
The manifold intake is absolutely clean, there are no problems with the idle
and my engine runs perfekt with the stock software.
In addition to that has my engine not more than 75.000 km! - round about 46.600 miles on it.
( my truck has come as a new vehicle to europe )

A software update could run a chance... maybe,
but i stay further with the differential octane rating.

And "Tune UP" means a basic ummm tune....Spark plugs, spark plug wires, and distributor cap and rotor. That should be done every 30,000 miles (or 48,000 KM ).

Glad to have a German member on the forum!

Thank you @PurplDodge

yes ! plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor - i have changed everthing at 60,000 km.
... and once again YES! :-) Iīm glad too. I gets so much help from you guys here.

Itīs a litte bit difficult to get ( the right! ) detailed, technical help in germany,
so iīm trying to find the best answers for me here and,
of course - give them also to our users in the german dodge forum.

Sometimes it took a bit of time to understand what you guys here talking about,
so please have allowance for my - maybe - dispensable questions ;-)
Thank you again.

But Germans are awesome when it comes to anything mechanical. You might just be talking to the wrong people.

@Sheriff420:

... to ANYTHING mechanical ? I donīt think so.
In germany are a lot of guys who repair, tune or modify their european cars, yes
but only a handful of guys repair and pimp their "non-european-market vehicles".

You must know, that there is no official dodge dealer for imported vehicles like the RAM or the Durango.
Nitro or Caliber of course, these cars are official imported by chrysler and so you get the full service.
If you want to ride a vehicle like a RAM here, you must contact an importer or do the import on your own.
The most RAM drivers here ride their trucks factory-styled with no modifications.
Of course, here are some us tuning part dealers.. but you pay a high price for their service.

What i wanna say is, that it is the quickest way for me to get technical informations here in the forum
because here are simply more guys who ride and pimp a RAM :-)
