Default Still Overheating

I just can't figure it out. So I am open to any ideas. You guys know I did the 318-360 Conversion. I just can't stop it from running hot. It doesn't skyrocket or get crazy hot. I drove it probably 70 miles. Ran about 200 when I went slower it cooled down to 190. Did fine all day then on the way home which is the longest at high speeds it got up to 215.

1. Only thing not new in coolant system is radiator but I had it out and it seemed to flow just fine. (both hoses are getting hot) $180 to replace radiator

2. Running lean????? it is hard to imagine that being the main issue but it is possible. ($350 for a custom tune)

3. Vacuum leak don't think it would cause the problem but I did find a broken vacuum line. It comes off a the vacuum line that goes into the intake on the passenger side??

4. Any other ideas. Has a brand new 180* thermostat, burped the system. It is one of those issues that isn't out of control but I know it isn't right.

Stupid question but any chance you got the fan on backwards? If not maybe check the fan clutch when it's hot turn the motor off then see if you can turn the fan by hand, it should be pretty hard to turn.

I did't think it should be running 215 with a 180 thermostat? My main concern with that is it causing a pretty big drop in oil pressure when it gets over 200. I do know when it went from 200-215 that motor was hot. Could I really just be paranoyed over nothing. I am gonna check the fan blade.....you never know

If your running 50/50 in your coolant you might consider a 70/30 mix since water is better than the anti-freeze when it comes to cooling your system. A 50/50 mix is only needed to prevent freeze up at -40C. Thermal resistance and all that technical shtuff.

Another site if you care about the thermal dynamics (it's PC related, but the info still applies)

Here is a new onr got home tonight gonna let it idle in driveway.......now I have a squeeking noise, thought might be brand new belt sprayed belt dressing and it got worse.
It is like it squeeks every time the belt makes on complete rotation and doesn't go away with higher RPM.

215 seems hot to me with 180 thermostat, especially this time of year.
I think you might have a bad water pump impeller. Sometimes the impeller comes loose on the shaft and just does'nt push enough coolant.
I just say that because it's the only thing I can think of that would cause the symptoms your describing.
