Default Work Truck

Hey guys, Im a daily reader and have learned tons of information from this forum. I use my truck mainly as a work truck, and I wanted to see a thread about practical "work truck" stuff. Like maybe pics of racks you have added, or toolboxes/bed organizers, or custom mods to make work life more practical. This is the beauty of owning a pick up, they can be used to pretty-up for show trucks, beast-up for off roading, or work-up for hauling supplies to the jobsite.

tractor supply has some nice options for toolboxes. i like the ones that go behind the wheel well because they are hidden and accessible with the tailgate down while not sacrificing too much bed space.

yeah I have seen those, and I really like them because you dont have to sacrifice bed space. I have the long bed and I use every bit of it. They are a bit expensive though.

ebay and craigslist would be a good place to look. unless you have access to a welder, then you could make your own.

I love my back rack it's so useful and durable. It's great if you make a lot of trips to the lumber yard. Plus it protects the back window when I have the bed filled with wood. Other than that, an 8 ft. bed makes doing stuff a little easier.

I wish I had an 8' bed, right now I have a toolbox with a couple milk crates in it to organize my stuff so when I go flying around corners it doesnt bounce around.
I have 2 fire extinguishers in there and dont need them going off
