Actually calipers from a 2500 will bolt right up, rotors I dont see that happening, but if you already have that big of tires and you have a 1500??? you should look into upgrading axles to dana 60

i was just looking at them. 5 lug rotors. You are correct Aubrey, there are 8 lug rotors, but there are also 5 lugs.

Only the light duty 2500s with V8 engines have 5-bolt wheels. The diesel and V10 models are all 8-bolt as are all 3500s. The dual-piston 2500 calipers are not a bolt-on replacement for the single-piston 1500 calipers.

No, there are 5 lug 2500 rotors. The calipers will not match up, just the rotors.

The single piston calipers off of a 2500 will fit on a 1500 direct swap no modding of nothing all you have to do is go to the store and get the 2500 calipers and brake pads. I know this for a fact I have a 1500 and have the 2500 calipers just get the parts for the same year.
Also if your doing this im assuming you have stock axles why dont you upgrade to dana 60
And also fill out your sig it makes it easier for us to help you

When making statements like this you need to be specific as to the years you're referring to. This does not apply to '99 and up 2500s as they have larger, dual-piston calipers. The earlier 2500 single-piston calipers have larger bores (better braking) and will fit '98 and older 1500s.
