can a dana 60 fit on my half ton 2000 ram?

the rear is already a dana 60.....front is a dana 44

No it's not, it's a 9 1/4 corporate rear end. And yes you can swap in a 60, but it's going to require some modifications. Not just a bolt on swap.

its not a bolt in swap, but its close enough... i did it... i took a 1999 ( for my 1998) and swapped in the D60's Front and Rear... replaced my D44 Front and 9.25... if you need more info, let me know...

We all know it can be done, just not a simple bolt for bolt swap.(like I think the OP was asking) Drive shaft for one.

I want to know this too.How much cash did this swap require?Custom axles or 8 lug wheels.Do tell..........man, an arb locker would be money!

If your using a D60 out of a 2500 Ram, then I know you have to change the rear leaf springs, driveshaft u-joint, and also get you some 8 lug wheels. There used to be a DIY on pavementsucks.

I wouldnt want 8 lug wheels on a 1/2 truck.I would feel like a tool.I would just have to go custom with new axles
