Trailer hitch recall?
Hi all,
I had Chrysler email me the build sheet for my truck just for kicks. At the end of the list it says this...
"In addition, our records indicate that the following recall campaign has
not been performed by an authorized dealer:
RECALL 872 - TRAILER HITCH REINFORCEMENT BRACKETS
We suggest that you contact your local authorized Dodge dealer to make
arrangements for an inspection and, if necessary, corrective action at
no charge to you."
I've never heard of this recall before, what's it all about?

where the hitch attaches to the truck it can develop cracks and make your trailer go bye bye when it snaps off.
