Default Axle diameter?

Does anybody know what the axle diameter is for my '02 2500 with the V-10? Seems the 2500 had a 3" and a 3.75" axle. I am out of town this week so can't go measure it myself. Thanks!

I ran out and measured my front real quick and got 3 1/2"
It's pouring out so I'm not gonna double check..LOL

From my poor memory 2000-2002 was the last years of the Danas on Dodges and are different from the previous years.
Now all that aside I would say the standard 2500 has the 3" the v-10, and diesel are the 3 3/4"....
anyway my front is Dana 60 and back is Dana 70
which one are you looking for?

VEETEN you are the MAN! I have the Dana 60 up fron as well. Everything I have read is that the 2000-2002 were the last of the breed as well. Thanks again.

I just remeasured and got the same 3.5" front and back......
So I'm stumped on this one..

Is the 3" axle refering to the ID (if so that's what I have)
But I dunno, I think the axle tube is thicker than 1/4" wall.

I think we need an expert to chime in here first.
What are you looking to buy/replace on the axle?

This is the best axle info I could find here. It says the axle thickness is .50
I am getting a dual steering stabilizer and need the OD. I am almost positive it is the 3.75. Worse case if I am wrong will just need some different U-bolts.
