When i did my back doors, the tops unlatched but not the bottoms. I had to hold the handle open and from the inside donkey kick the hell out of the door at the bottom. After about 10 gallons of sweat and WD40 i broke them loose. I ended up taking the latches apart after i got the door open. I drilled out the rivets to seperate the 2 halves. Cleaned the metal parts real good and packed it with wheel bearing grease and put back together. Havent had a problem since.

Thanks I think Im gonna have to kick the hell out of it.
I forgot I had the service manual, the white pin is supposed to be in the hole closer to the latch, not the hole closer to the rod which it was in my case. Im gonna move it and try again.
