Yet another Seafoam question
i have a 03 with the 5.9 new to the v8 world i have a kinda dumb question i have a done a search on here and seen good and bad on seafoam not sure if i should give it a try? If i did i have read its best to pour some in the break booster line for the intake is this true if so would this be the correct line to do so? thanks all for your help!
Seafoam works... Doesn't have to be the brake booster line, any vacuum line that'll feed all cylinders will work. It's recommended you change your oil not long after for any that may end up in your oil as it sits in the cylinders..
I just did mine through that brake booster line. Revved it up to about 1500 rpm and let it suck up about 1/3 of the can of Seafoam from a beer can cut in half. It will kill the engine...then let it sit for about 15 mins and start it up and let it smoke.
