Default Sounds like water schloshing

When im at an idle, and i give it a sliiiight bit of gas, say to 1k or 1200, it sounds like water schloshing through a pipe from the heater core area....whats up with this? is there air in my system makin it do that?

I've heard it in mine too. Not quite sure why it does it either.[sm=confused06.gif]

It is worth parking the Ram on as steep an uphill grade as possible for a few days.

If you look at the top radiator hose
and at the way the heater core hoses come out to the front of the intake manifold and water pump,
you will see how easy it is for air to stay in the coolant passages.

so, it IS air in the system. i figgured that. on all my other cars theres been some magic air relief valve or cap you open to get the air out. this truck, you have to have the thermostat exposed to do so?
