Default Speedometer

anyone's speedometer and odometer not working?what's the fix for these?My Ram is a 98' 1500 5.2 4x2.

On a 98 the cause can either be the sensor on the tail shaft of tranny or the sensor on top of the rear end housing. Do you have the ABS and Brake light on too?

Yeah the ABS and brake are on too.Any fix and is it expensive?

It's most likely the sensor on top of the rear end. Around $50.

Yep. That should fix the lights and the speedo. Some places have them for around $30 and other places are a bit more. Easy to install and should fix it

Hey guys what's the actual name of the part?I called and they have some ABS thing for the rear differential.

it will take under 10 minutes to change out, its very easy.
